Graduation 3/7/2006

Some pictures in front of the Theological College for individual and group pictures, and pictures in front of Queen's after the graduation ceremony. I think I was more thrilled having family there compared to the jittery feeling of graduation. Sentimental pulak tengok gambar-gambar ni.

The BBQ (30/4/2006)

QMC organised the annual Family Day on Sunday, April 30th. So an impromptu decision was made between us final year medics to organise a BBQ for everyone. It's a tradition thing in a way: our seniors did organise BBQ or simple makan-makan for everyone around when they passed their exams. Thanks to Aki's marinade, all of the chicken pieces were safely tucked in everyone's tummy.

Apa la killer ingredient yang ko letak dalam marinade tu ye Aki? :-D

I am now a doctor! Congratulations to those who have made it as well.

Quoting Awa, "Kalau kasi sejuta ringgit pun (aku) tak nak amik exam ni lagi."

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Alamak, lamanya tak update Fotopage ni.

I am really really really busy. This photo is self explanatory. But to remind myself, this is the upcoming entries for this Fotopage:

1. Sihem's birthday
2. Fid belanja coffee and cake sebab dia dapat distinction in Paeds
3. Malaysian Night
4. Hari Ukhuwwah

As for blogging, I have had a hard time remembering the name of the most 'popular' Surgical Professor in my university (Ugh how can I forget his name??!!!). My brain is under a lot of strain, as you can guess, so I will bid goodbye until the fateful day. Tak lama pun lagi.

New Camera!

Oops, I forgot to say that I finally have a new digicam. It is Canon Powershot A620, and I'm loving it (paparappapa!). TQ Kak Dilla and Asyrul!

Like I did with my former camera, Nikon Coolpix 4100, I saved the first picture no matter how butt ugly it is. Presenting myself, just got back from London, totally pooped but still excited to play with my new toy. I still haven't got the hang of its manual setting. The battery charger is for the US, and my plug adaptor has still not arrived yet, due to the postal strike in Belfast. Erks... maybe it is time I stop being stingy with the normal AA batteries?

BTW, obviously I altered this picture with Adobe Photoshop.

The day I turned 25 (on 23rd actually)

It was the first time I actually had a surprise birthday party, which was thrilling and scary at the same time. Seriously, I mean, who would expect the popping sound akin to a gun the moment you open the door to your house? Hehehe.

It was also the first time I ruined my own birthday cake. If your cake is frozen, don't put it in a microwave. Fortunately, there is no evidence of the destruction whatsoever.

London 3/2/2006

This is from the short trip Fizah and I took to London, accompanied by the regular Londoner Najib. We had a walk along Thames River while trying to sing Abba's song "Waterloo" around the moment this picture is taken. Both pictures taken by Najib using his mobile -- a lot of thanks!

Missing the good old days

Believe it or not, this is some pictures from my first year in UK (2001). This is during Christmas break, at Leeds and York. My first snow in UK, and my first snow fight in UK as well hehe. Eh, my first raya in UK as well! Probably my most vivid memory is watching Ina cooking rendang -- which I didn't have the vaguest idea of how to cook it at that time -- and showed me the new 'Lemang Segera Adabi.' Oh yes, and the snow fight with Ross by the side of a busy street in York, while the people in cars were staring. Nyahahahha.

I believe it has been a while since I met a couple of people in these pics, namely Din and Wada. Apa cerita korang ni haa? And I miss the engineers!

Class of 2005 Graduation

Yeah. This has been a long time. But I published it in the end, didn't I?

FYI, my digital camera is RIP and I am still gutted about it. Operative word is 'gutted.' If you keep asking me about my digicam or pretend that you don't know what happened, I will look very much okay outside. But inside, you have ripped open an already healing wound.

Drama queen bukan? LOL

I'm serious about ripping the healing wound thing.

I do have some extra photos from my digicam before its early death, phone etc. Won't buy a new digicam until graduation.

Ely's visit

Ely from Dublin has came over to babysit Kak Fidah's son for a week, and during the weekends she had a bit of time to spare and take a look around Belfast. It's a pity she hasn't been to Giant's Causeway and other natural scenic places Ireland is well known for :-S . Maybe someday :)

During Ely's second weekend, Kak Sarimah and her son from Warwick came over to Belfast for a day before going to Coleraine for a conference. Fid and I took them around too.

Pretty busy but fun week. Busy is good as long as no work is involved. :groucho:
